Thank you for visiting my blog!  My name is Darlene Anderson and I live in the Midwest (out on the prairie).  I am a mother and grandmother of 3 and I love working at home and creating lots of beautiful items.  The quilted ball ornaments that I sell are all my own designs.  I like to reproduce the colors of the prairie in my ornaments, but there are a lot of other places that I get my inspiration also.  I am a cowgirl and avid horse lover and horseback riding is one of my favorite hobbies.  I have created some quilted ball designs using horse fabric or western theme fabric. 

I also make Recycled Broken China Angel ornaments.  These were created when I found some broken pieces of vintage china that had belonged to my husband’s grandmother.  They were just too pretty to throw away so I decided to turn them into “new creations”.  I love visiting old homestead dump sites and often find beautiful pieces that I can fashion into angels.  No two are alike, so what you see is what you get.
