I absolutely love frosted sugar cookes and Valentine cookies are by far my favorite. My mom used to make the best Valentine cookes from a recipe called “To My Valentine Oatmeal Cookies”. Frosted with pink frosting and decorated with white highlights, names & sayings, they were totally irresistible! They are made like regular sugar cookies, but have the added nutrition of oatmeal. I’ve added the recipe to the bottom of this post, if you want to make some yummy heart cookies of your own.
This beautiful quilted ornament is called “Valentine Cookies”, of course, and is a wonderful addition to your holiday decor, gift for a friend or loved one, or just a great memento of your favorite Valentine cookies. This ornament is the first in a series of three ornaments portraying Valentine cookies. Valentine Cookies is up for auction right now on Ebay. Watch for the next three in this series coming soon!
